Posso riutilizzare gli SmartPeg?

Gli SmartPeg sono articoli monouso. Per evitare danni all’impianto, il materiale degli SmartPeg è abbastanza morbido, il che limita la durata delle filettature. Quindi lo SmartPeg non può essere riutilizzato per due motivi: primo, il magnete non sopporta il calore di un’autoclave, ne risentirà e si scolorirà. In secondo luogo, le filettature sono rese deboli per non compromettere le filettature interne dell’impianto. Il riutilizzo dello SmartPeg potrebbe usurare i fili e fornire valori ISQ fuorvianti.

Il valore ISQ è sensibile alla forza con cui viene avvitato lo SmartPeg?

Lo SmartPeg deve essere serrato con una forza pari a 4-5 Ncm, che significa “stretto con le dita”, utilizzando il supporto SmartPeg. È sufficiente un contatto saldo tra lo SmartPeg e l’impianto. La differenza nel valore ISQ rimarrà quindi entro 2 unità ISQ. (Se lo SmartPeg è serrato in modo troppo lento, il valore ISQ sarà inferiore.) Se lo SmartPeg è serrato eccessivamente, c’è il rischio che le filettature dello SmartPeg vengano danneggiate.
