New additions to our Scientific Database

Feb 11, 2020

We are happy to share the news of a new update to our scientific database of publications concerning RFA and Osstell ISQ. Our regularly updated database, where we have compiled all scientific research relating to Osstell, now includes over 1070 articles!

As you may know, we have also improved the search tool to make it easier and save time for you to use it with a better presentation of search results.

In the latest search, there were over 50 new articles.

We are very pleased to see this continuing growth and that the Osstell ISQ technology is so widely accepted as the only evidence-based and clinical standard for measuring implant stability and assessing osseointegration.

Among the 50+ new articles, many are related to implant surface treatment and implant site preparations to enhance osseointegration and removing the remodeling dip. This reflects the general trend we see towards shorter treatment protocols.

We found one article of particular interest, demonstrating how healing is slower for diabetic patients and that monitoring osseointegration using Osstell ISQ is a helpful guidance of when to load an implant:

Impact of well-controlled type 2 diabetes mellitus on implant stability and bone biomarkers by Sundar Gauthami (G) ; Sridharan Srirangarajan (S) ; Sundaram R R (RR) ; Prabhu Srikumar (S) ; Rao Ravi (R) ; Rudresh Vinaya (V), Int J Oral Maxillofac Implants. 2019 November/December
