The ISQ: What do the numbers mean?
Lecture by Dr. Jay Malmquist at the Osstell Scientific Symposium, 2010
Dr. Malmquist presents how to use the Osstell ISQ in practice. He describes which ISQ values can be expected in different situations, and how failing implants behave in terms of ISQ assessment. Dr. Malmquist also presents the ISQ data for 200 Biohorizons and Biomet/3i implants, highlighting the development in ISQ value from insertion to second stage. He also advises on the benefits of using Osstell and ISQ values when in communication with referral doctors.
