Single Tooth Immediate Loading in Maxilla

Patient

Single tooth maxilla, first lateral incisor, obviously in the esthetic zone.

Treatment Planning

Buccal-lingual ridge width has to be at least 5.5mm. Measure mesial-distal distance between adjacent teeth at bone level. Polyvinyl siloxane impression taken at screening visit to evaluate alveolar ridge dimension prior to implant placement.

Problem

Achieving enough stability as to be able to directly load the implant.

Solution

Implant placement will involve a tissue punch access and flapless surgical procedure using information provided by radiographic assessments. The primary stability of the implant will be examined to exclude lateral or axial implant movement.
