Dr. Malmquist presented how to use the Osstell ISQ in practice. He described which ISQ values can be expected in different situations, and how failing implants behave in terms of ISQ assessment. Dr. Malmquist also presented the ISQ data for 200 Biohorizons and Biomet/3i implants, highlighting the development in ISQ value from insertion to second stage.
