Course description

One of the most important challenges in implant therapy today is deciding when to restore and load the implant to optimize clinical success and predictable patient outcomes.
This course will help you identify risk factors for implant failures and tell you how to avoid and manage complications.  It will also describe the clinical considerations in making loading decisions and discuss techniques, such as Resonance Frequency Analysis (RFA) with Osstell, for objectively and noninvasively guiding those decisions.

The course will cover:

  • The most critical factors in making loading decisions
  • More predictable treatment of patients with risk factors
  • How to avoid failure caused by premature loading, and the associated costs
  • The latest clinical tools available to diagnose implant stability and osseointegration
