The company Osstell AB (formerly Integration Diagnostics) was formed in the beginning of 1999, to commercialise an invention by two English Professors; Prof. Neil Meredith, Leeds and Prof. Peter Cawley, London. The invention, which was made in the beginning of the 90's, is about using a small transducer and Resonance Frequency Analysis to determine the clinical status of a dental implant. The method has been used in numerous clinical studies since 1992. The company has grown since 1999, and has its headquarters in Gothenburg, Sweden. Osstell has a subsidirary in USA and is active through distributors all over the world. Since 2014 Osstell is owned by Fouriertransform - a state owned venture capital company, Layline Partners - a Swedish investment firm, and the company management.
Osstell will develop and sell innovative diagnostic equipment, based on thorough research, for the dental market.
